The equipment we use for tandem skydiving

We use four American Vector Sigma tandem gears which are considered as the most modern, safest and for this reason most widespread tandem equipment all around the world when it comes to skydiving.

Such a tandem system contains two chutes. A main chute which can bear up to 250 kg (550 pounds) and a backup chute that can take a maximal load of 227 kg (499 pounds). Our backup chutes are equipped with an automatic activation device expressly developed for this purpose. This microchip-based equipment senses descent speed and opens the backup chute automatically at 550 metres (1800 feet) in case the tandem master doesn't open it for some reason in time.

It goes without saying that all the chute systems we use are thoroughly examined before season start in accordance with legal provisions!

Some useful info regarding the Sigma tandem harness: it is the safest and most comfortable for jumpers. The standard model was equipped with two further safety harnesses which fundamentally changed the image one had of skydive descent. Parachuting with such a Sigma harness is truly an experience! Unfortunately I heard so many tandem jumpers complain after the jump at other teams of having an uncomfortable harness during descent. This would never happen with us!
